Help me love my honey badger the way it deserves

Been in the process of building out a honey badger over the past few weeks and am like many new to 300 blk owners a bit overwhelmed by the ammo dilemma. I want defensive subs but the affordable stuff seems underwhelming and buying a couple hundred rounds of nicer ammo isn’t realistic to train up on (shooting 50 and having 150 on hand wouldnt give any kind of confidence in the rounds ability to function correctly in the gun). Then you have stuff like subx that is affordable but most people say it leaves more to be desired in a lot of aspects. Gun is also slightly under gassed (ejection pattern puts most sub rounds at 4-5 o’clock but the bolt does lock to the rear consistently so it’s got enough juice to run them just can see how if it starts getting dirty may need to worry about her cycling properly.). Just curious if you guys have any recommendations on how to go about stocking and training on my platform do I pony up and just load up on maker x rounds train with a couple hundred and then stockpile the rest over time or train on supers and stock pile them or some other option.

Priorities in order

1-reliability
2-ballistic performance
3-price
4- availability
