Recently built a 300, having trouble getting it to cycle rounds. Bolt opens far enough to eject but not enough to grab a new round. Played around with the gas block for a while and couldn’t ever find a sweet spot. Wondering if the easy fix is a new buffer spring kit? Can’t seem to find any info on what the lower came with for a spring.
PSA lower with an HBPDW brace, Superlative Arms gas block, Spike’s pistol length gas tube.
For a complete sbr with a can that’s not a horrible price considering that’s about the price of a rattler naked. I’ve been looking at a mixtape but I don’t see many videos online about the SD weasel. how good is this rifle?
Bought this BCM 9 inch 300 upper in summer of 2017 and I finally got the last parts for its dedicated lower delivered today. Used one of the 2 lowers for my 5.56 guns but it is a great feeling to have dedicated lowers for all of my guns.
This upper is also insanely accurate. The last group is at 100 yards in a crappy shooting position out of the trunk of my SUV. Used 110gr hornady VMAX. First shot low was zero confirmation after switching optic mounts and the group was next 3 shots after first zero adjustment.
I would’ve gotten an MCX or a newer 300blk gun if I didn’t buy this upper when I was really young but I really love this build
Just got to order a Timney Flat faced trigger and an actual stock and "DD" (my DDM4 PDW) will be complete!
I want to get one of the 10.5 inch 300 blackout commandos from PSA. It's a "kino" gas system, so a regular pistol length gas block and a dummy front sight post. I couldn't change out the gas block for an adjustable one because it's stuck behind the front sight post.
I've only ever shot suppressed with adjustable gas blocks. Will this setup spit a bunch of gas in my face? Would be shooting subs most of the time but maybe some supers, all suppressed.
Looking at buying/building a bolt action pistol in 300bo. It must be a pistol to remain legal for specific quota hunts in my state.

Anyone running a Rattler/Rattler LT with a Traverse or another low-backpressure can on subs — does it cycle and lock back reliably, and with what ammo?
If I should avoid the question entirely, what 300 BLK pistol under ~$2,500 would you buy that cycles subs with little or no backpressure help?

This was my first 300 blackout build. The picture came up in my Google photo memories. It's got a BA 8.3" 300BLK Premium Series Hanson Profile barrel and a KAK K-SPEC Full Chrome Downvent C158 BCG. I run a standard mil-spec carbine length buffer spring with an H1 buffer weight by Battle Arms in the Maxim Defense CCS. It has a Geissele SSP trigger in it now (CMC component trigger depicted here) and the can I'm running is a SilencerCo Scythe Ti. It's so quiet when shooting subs and it cycles reliably. The H1 buffer can handle both supers and subs suppressed. The optic is a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 Gen 2 Elite on a Scalarworks LEAP 01 1.93" mount. it's a sweet little build and I enjoy shooting it a lot. What was your first 300 blackout build? Feel free to share!
I know this question probably gets beaten to death. I did some searching and it seems that, at some point, Phantom Defense remans were well-regarded for general use training/range ammo. Is this still the sweet spot? Is anybody using anything else that they really like?
I just got this 10.5 chainsaw upper and have been trying to tune it for supers with the Saw Tisha. I can hardly get 110 grain supers to cycle, 147-150 grain won’t cycle as well. I know that subs aren’t going to be optimal with a lbp can but I’m confused why I can’t cycle supers. I’m running H1 buffer and milspec spring, bcg is brand new. Is the gas block leaking? Do I need to widen the gas port? Any recommendations. I fired 200 rounds of various different ammo types today and id say I’m getting a 60-70% failure rate.
Running a Q Sugar Weasel 300 Blackout suppressed with a Thunder Chicken can. After cleaning, the bolt carrier group seems “sluggish.” Closing the bolt with the bolt catch release and sometimes the bolt won’t fully go into battery on the first round out of the magazine.
I’m fairly new to the AR world and have heard that if you use too much oil or solvent, it can affect the BCG. The last time I cleaned it, I went very light on the liquids (so to speak) and the BCG still feels “sluggish.”. That’s about the best way I can describe it.
Any ideas what this could be? Suggestions?

I also wanted a fast twist and they said you don’t really need to adjust with a longer barrel but I plan to run subs literally 100% of the time
May even put a law folder on it also
