World's First Lucky 16mm Film SHD50 Test (B&W Single Perforated)

Right after Lucky Film officially restarted its production lines in 2025, I reached out to them to discuss making single-perf 16mm film. During the process, they made a few dummy rolls without emulsion just to verify the sizing. Sadly, the perforation positioning didn't meet the standards during our first few attempts. But after several more rounds of adjusting, finally make a film roll that meets the SMPTE standards. Then they produced a first batch of single-perf 16mm test film coated with Lucky SHD50 emulsion. I shot a roll the moment I got my hands on it, and I've just freshly scanned the footage.Lucky SHD50 is a negative film, but I developed it as a positive using the D67 reversal process. I developed it in a 3D-printed Lomo tank that I designed and built myself. The stainon the right side happened because I made a mistake while loading the film—I put the perf side facing up by accident. This coast non-perforated side is under-developed.
