I’ve been told to use class 2 elastics (from upper canine to lower back molar) which will help open my deep bite but it’s sooooo uncomfortable as my lower brackets are pushing against the back of my upper incisors. I’ve tried to search about how can class 2 elastics help with deep bite but apparently it’s mainly supposed to be used to treat over jet/ over bite and malocclusion not deep bite cases. Btw i already have bite pads on my back lower molars and the ortho refused to adjust it to make it higher and said that i don’t need it. Should i just keep wearing the class 2 elastics regardless of how uncomfortable it is? Can it really help open deep bite?
