I don't know what I changed, if anything, but when I complete objectives now I don't get the sound or even notifier at the top to say I've done it, but I do have goal notification enabled in options. How can I turn it back on?

In all the footage there's a lot of these white smoke looking impact frames when shooting enemies and it looks rather cartoonish, almost like it's there to make the combat feel a little less violent? I hope they either tone it down or we can mod it out later.
