Playing with one hand tied behind my back has brought back that spark. Anything else you folks think can help with burnout?

I have been playing Monster Hunter since 3 Ultimate in 2013. I have either hundreds or thousands of hours played in every main game release in North America excluding the PS2 original.

The point is I think I'm finally feeling burnt out after all these years... But then I remembered all the shenanigans and fun I had when I did one handed Zelda runs and decided I'd hop on Generations Ultimate - my favorite MonHun - and give it a go.

The first thing I noticed when using my right hand alone is that I have trouble pressing the face buttons with my little finger (using a pro controller). Upon switching to my left hand (my dominant hand) I find it difficult to use the D-pad effectively but luckily you can use the right stick for most of the menus instead. Maybe a different control scheme would help?

Anyway I'm just getting that hang of playing one handed and it hit me: maybe there's like minded folks on Reddit that would join in the challenge with me? And if not then no harm done making a silly post right?

So if you have any suggestions on how you kill your burnout or just want someone to talk to about MonHun or chat and play weird challenges hit me up.
