Blackmail help center is not legit. You will Google them and find lots of.info. first, their supposed reps or counselors will keep calling you. 738 am on a Sunday as a clue. Second, they will text you using a series of changing numbers. Finally, if you do a reverse look up on the first number they use (888-whatever), it will tell you it's not a us- based number. Their financing option is eerily similar to what the sextortion wanted. Lastly, they knew a bit too much about the case even before I gave my story. They are most likely opportunistic scammers who know that you are willing to pay

A poster on a reddit subforum, deadbedrooms, mesaged me and i feel for it. They asked if i had whatsapp. I again fell for it and was sexting with them. They asked for a pic of my private part which i did. They told me that they were trying to send me a racy video but WhatsApp would not let them. They needed an email address. Can't believe I was so gullible but I did it.

So now they had my email and phone number. Next came a series of emails showing screenshots of my wife's socials and emails. He threatened to tell her of our conversation if I did not pay him 10k. I'm nowhere that rich. However, i stalled things out​ and ended up paying him once. It was $90. So my question is what should I do. This person will start contacting me again tomorrow morning.
