This is a clip of Mehdi Hasan in a heated debate with far-right German AfD politician Maximilian Krah about Muslim immigration in Germany. Krah starts by blindly comparing different immigrant communities, such as Somalis and Iranians, while ignoring their different histories, struggles, and the advantages or disadvantages each community has faced. He then draws a conclusion that favors one group over the other. What do you guys make of this?

I was scrolling through Instagram and was recommended a short from a female content creator claiming to be an Arab Muslim woman (not specifying the country) married to an Indian Sikh man. The comments section is filled with some Hindutva and Sikh extremist commenters making fun of Muslims, especially South Asian Muslims, saying that “converted Muslims are mad and jealous,” and even sexualizing/fetishizing Muslim women.

I mention this because I later found a TikTok video of her complaining about Muslim followers advising her that it is prohibited for a Muslim woman to marry a non-Muslim man, but she never really addresses any of the Islamophobic and disgusting comments made by those islamophobic disgusting comments made by hindu and sikh accounts.

She has almost around 100k followers on Instagram but a much smaller following on TikTok. Almost all of her posts focus on the fact that she is married to a Sikh man. She also has a child she posts about, but it doesn’t seem like she has much interest in raising him as Muslim. I was also surprised to find that some Muslim women influencers Ibfollow (5 out of the 200 I follow) are following her.

If she really is an Arab woman, I find it a bit unusual that she is married to a Sikh man, given how some Arab families can be about their daughters marrying even within Muslim communities from South Asia and Africa.

I did some searching and apparently her mother is white and her father is of Syrian descent. Does anyone here know who she is or follow her?
