My account got closed too (a month and half ago) ;//

Hello everyone. I have been visiting this subreddit for a few months, but I never posted (never had a Reddit account until now).

The last few days I’ve seen a few posts of people getting randomly banned or suspended from Amazon Vine programme. I wanted to share my story of how this happened to me too (about a month ago), and hopefully exchange some information with each other. And maybe help each other to get reinstated.

I am using Amazon. de (the German Amazon). My account had nearly 100% perfect stats (from the account page). After I had a discussion with my accountant and he told me that it would be better to change something in the DAC-7 tax form.

I did the change, submitted the form, it got accepted (is showed successful validation) and about a minute later after I refreshed the Vine page, I got this notification.

“Your Vine account has been closed for not meeting our programme participation criteria. You will still be able to view your Vine reviews and Vine order history but will no longer be able to request Vine items. We encourage you to continue posting unbiased reviews to be able to participate in the programme again in the future.”

This should be some sort of a technical error, because as I said, I had an account with near perfect stats.

**- I never used AI for my reviews. **

- Always wrote genuine reviews, I added pictures (and sometimes videos) to almost all of my reviews.

- The percentage of “Review-to-order ratio” was at about 97%.

- My “Review insightfulness score” was also at excellent.

In the past months I had only a couple of items canceled. A few that were delisted and a few broken ones that I was unable to review.

The worst part is that this happened about 10-12 days before my re-evaluation date and I never got the Level 2 (the Gold tier).

Since then, I contacted the Amazon Vine support (and regular Amazon support) a few times, but every time I was getting a different reply for them (also they were replying to me about 10 days since I contacted them). I contacted them from the Amazon Vine support page, via email and via Live Chat support.

By the way, after my account got closed, I reverted the change that I did in my DAC-7 form and submitted the form again. Once again, it went through, showed successful and “Validated”.

I recently saw the thing with the “View Page Source” feature of the browser. That’s my story. To this date I have no idea why my account got closed. If any of you have any suggestions who to reach for support, so I can get my account back, you help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
