The fabric is a polyviscose

I don’t understand the weird bulges. How do I fix them on this dress ? I don’t have enough fabric to restart… hoping I can fix it on the dress :(.

Edit : there is no zipper and no lining.

Bought a vintage school table.
Wanted to sand it to give it a new skin.
Seems the previous owner used a thick layer of varnish on it.

The wood underneath is looking crazy. I can continue sanding to get it clean but the wood on the desk is not the same as the wood on the seat.. how do I get them to be the same color ?

It’s looking like layers of plywood on both.
