I use the Bambu Lab P2S combo, so with the AMS 2 Pro. At first I only used filament with spools. Now I got a good amount of empty spools, I switched to refill spools.
Lately I get errors when using the auto-refill option. The AMS is loaded with 2 exact the same spools: original bambu, same colour, same material.
When a refilled spool goes nearly empty an error occurs: filament could not be retracted.
So the last bit of filament is not used and more important the printer pauses. I noticed the end of the filament is loose, not attached to the spool. Maybe that is the reason but I do not know why it should retract. It is a single material/colour project.
Is this a known issue with refilled spools? Do others also have this issue? Any way to get auto-refill to work with refill spools?
Filament already on spools do not give any problem. They are attached with a piece of tape.
