A selection of interesting Japan-Only games to check out !
Here's a small selection of PS2 games that were only released in Japan ! They are all interesting games to look into. Not necesseraly great, but definitely interesting.
From top left to bottom right:
- Hungry Ghosts : Horror game developed by Deep Space, which only made Extermination other than that. Directed by Tokuro Fujiwara, from the Tomba! series.
- Sakurazaka Shōbōtai : Firefighting game developed by Racjin. If you liked Firefighter F.D.18, you might like this one too.
- Critical Velocity : Racing game developed by Namco.
- Ichigeki Sacchuu!! HoiHoi-San : 3rd Person Shooter in a Chibi world.
- Vampire Panic : Developed by AlfaSystem, it's a action-survival horror game.
- Snowboard Heaven : A bit obvious, and it's made by Cave. Yes, Cave..
- Appleseed EX : Based on the 2004 CG movie (From what I've read ?)
- Over the Monochrome Rainbow featuring Shogo Hamada : Very weird experimental musical game. Hard to play without a translation sadly..
- Metal Slug 3D : It's Metal Slug... but in 3D !
