Does anybody feel that life goes by faster when a lot of new things are happening?

I alway hear that life goes by fast when everything is routine and slows down when you have new experiences and for me it's the complete opposite. I started a new job last year in April and since then it's been a non-stop barrage of new stuff to learn, new experiences and other changes that were only possible due to an increased salary. And everything feels just so f*cking fast I barely have time to process things. The changes are positive, I like the new job but I would love for things to finally slow a little. Can anyone relate?

The new series looks beautiful, it's a shame I can barely see it because everything is way too fast.

I just binge-watched the first three episodes, the visuals are impeccable and it's a shame everything is on crack and way too damn fast. They clearly put a lot of effort into the backgrounds and details and I would like to have a little more time to actually look at them without having to hit pause. I understand why they didn't went for the super-slow pace of the 1995 movie, that probably wouldn't work for a modern audience. The pace of GITS SAC would have been perfect.
