i was pluging a usb into my motherboard when i felt something wasnt sure what?

so i got up and went to plug in the usb again while looking at the back when i saw a little spark and got shocked again

i imidietly turned everything off and unplugged everything

took of the back cover cuz idk i thought maybe a extra psu cable was touching the motherboard?(my psu is non modular so the extra cables are just stuffed where the hard drives are?)

but like wouldnt that just fry it or something?

all to say im not even sure what i can check?

could dust be the colprit?

and when i plug it back in how do i even check if its still zapping? i mean i wasnt shocked badly neither time,, but like i dont wanna be playing some „will i get shocked?” game in the future everytime im on the computer,, so yeah how do i check safly if it aint zapping?

i guess my question is if anyone has experinced this what are the things i should check?

also i mentioned that the extra cables of the psu i stuffed in the hard drive space

im pretty sure that after i turned everything off and touched the top of the case i also got a mini shock(idk if im imagining it cuz it was faint-feeling),,, so was the shock actually from the case? cuz my psu cables idk conucted through it? im not sure how this works

also the computer didnt turn off so yeah? idk what that tells if anything?

edit: thank you all who took the time to answer,, even if it took you less than 2 seconds and even if you thought it was simple,,

thank you for helping
