Google AI is impressively wrong

There are two Canadian cities and one town that are all of North, South, East, and West of the USA. I tried asking in multiple ways. But it just wouldn't get it. I even tried asking about the exact city names.

Pixel 10a data tracking vs VPN

In settings, mobile data usage, the data tracking is correct.

It seems that when the Google VPN is active, the app usage tracking is not correct. This is for both the Pixel data tracking and two other apps that track data.

I normally use about 2 GB mobile data per day. In app usage, it shows about 100 MB used per day.

One of the data tracking apps has a VPN option which I tried. It disabled the Google VPN. The app data tracking instantly started working correctly.

Is there a way to get app data tracking functional with the VPN active?

Mobile data

Where is all of my data going? According to the data tracking apps, I should have used about 2 GB data in the past month. According to settings-mobile data usage and my ISP, I've used about 40 GB data in the past month.

My mobile provider says I use an average of 2 GB data per day when away from Wi-Fi, but multiple data tracking apps, including the list of apps in settings-mobile data usage, say I use about 150 MB mobile data per day. Why such a huge difference?

I believe the 2GB/day is likely accurate. Why don't I have accurate readings for the assorted apps?
