I live in New Zealand. Was out walking and found this painting propped up against a skip bin. Really cool old painting, by J Wilson, with a date I think is 1824. I searched up the artist and it does appear to be a well known artist. It also had some auction tag but couldnt get any info on it. Was wondering the cost to get something like this restored, including the frame. Its a bit yellowed and dusty. I'd be super keen to keep this and hang it up. Also interested on any other info about the painting and artist.
