As the title says, i boiled a NES 72 pin connector for close to 10 minutes total (5 and 5 or 4 and 6 something like that) with a tfal pot my family and I use for food. Once the thought hit my brain "oh no i use this for food" i tried googling if its still safe to use for food and also asked gemini and chatgpt but the answers are all over the place. I've got both safe and unsafe answers, with some talking about lead or solder.

This being said, i am worried that dangerous or unsafe scenarios could arise because i dont know if its still safe to use for food. I wont be using it for anything other than food again if its still safe. For the record, i scrubbed the inside with a sponge and dishsoap and ill be running it through the dishwasher tomorrow too.

For the educated and knowing, is there anything i need to worry about or is it safe and im overthinking it? Thank you for your time and answers in advance.
