Bronze on Bronze bearing.
I need to preface this by saying my background is electrical engineering not mechanical engineering, so I figured I asked here.
That being said I know how to machine and I built this part to go on my waters steam governor to fix a problem these things have. Basically those steel square pieces that are attached to the levers push down to open and close the valve. Basicly what happens is those square pieces chew up what the push against very quickly. So I made this part with oil races and oil ports to fix that problem. After finishing the part I remember sometimes its bad the have similar materials running on each other.
I should add, it will be spinning at 330rpms.
