Just started playing Bioshock 1 after finishing Bioshock infinite. I definitely see what people mean when they say there’s a huge shift in the series’s tone. Bioshock 1 is essentially a horror game where you’re a bit more powerful than other games in the genre, whereas Infinite is an action scooter.

Already love the concept of Bioshock 1, can’t wait to beat it and it hasn’t lessened the experience of Infinite for me, but I can see why there’s a tad bit of controversy around Infinite.

Both settings are so unique though definitely ahead of their time.
