NAT type

For those who are getting moderate/strict NAT even after port forwarding. Try calling up your ISP and asking for a static IP. Then on your console or PC change the ip address/gateway address from automatic to the IP/gateway given by your ISP. Restart your network and device, it should display an open NAT type next time. I have 1g up and down but had bad rubber banding due to the NAT. Now the game plays perfect.

Is this moving backwards?

Like most I’m searching for a new FP&A position, 5 YoE, I’m more business unit so deep in the weeds of understanding “why” behind our figures. I’m interviewing actively with 4 different companies (very tiring while keeping up with current position). A recruiter reached out to me about being a financial systems analyst for a software my current company uses. I’ve had two rounds so far with them as I was using it more for interview reps than anything. But after the second round it seemed like they were impressed with my knowledge and think I could bridge the gap between IT and finance. This seems like a completely different world but I’m open to change. But if I take this position and find out it’s not for me long term, am I shooting myself in the foot? Currently 85k+ bonus, this position is $100-$110k which is also the pay band for the other 3 companies I’m interviewing with.

Keeping this vague but I’m interviewing with a large healthcare company for a SFA position. Initial phone went well, they’re sending an excel assessment on Monday and I have an hour. I come from SaaS, how would I approach preparing for this? Any tips? Only info given was it’s : 3 pages, PnL data, Expense data, pivot questions, reporting questions, and a forecast tab (assuming they want me to forecast).

Putting out feelers because it’s about that time for a new challenge. I’ve noticed recruiters are not very interested in giving details about the company. Feels like a first date lol, vague-ish descriptions about “their client”. Which I get you as a recruiter don’t want to be circumvented, but feels like a chess game pulling information about who the actual company is. Anyone else have this experience?
