My look for DJing Day Rave yesterday!

Promoting a dark circus and alternative clown event, so I got all dressed up and went downtown to clown with some fellow silly folx. Honk honk!

The flash mob clown parade starts at 9pm at The Wooly when Gates open for Dark Circus. The parades are free for all ages. The Dark Circus event is 21up $13 at gate or $10 presale. It's a benefit and fundraiser for Grace Marketplace.

This event is 💯 volunteer run by Gainesville Goths.

The next one is at the end of September!

I just sat down and started playing in makeup. Here's where I ended up!

Announcing the lineup for Dark Circus 2026! This gothic circus and alt clown theme night will sweep you away with stellar performances, dark dancey beats, fabulous vendors, and not one, but two flash mob clown parades to start and end the night!!

…AND it’s a benefit to help end homelessness in Gainesville. We’ll be selling art and handmade circus crafts as a fundraiser for Grace, as well as donating part of the ticket profits directly to them.

Jenny Castle makes her return to our stage with her one-of-a-kind clown comedy performance.

You’ll ooHH and ahhh over Phylaxxis as they perform amazing sideshow acts that’d scare your mom.

Scribbles & Kit make their debut as a sexy clowny duo taking the stage for audience games and prizes. It’s going to get weird, sexy, and silly.

Plus, your master of ceremonies, your leader of rings, and your clown commander will be Wild Creatrix.

The night will be bumping with dark, dancey tunes from DJs Baby Goth Back, Kerosene Kitten, and Wild Creatrix.

Our vendors area will feature custom circus nails, chainmail, leather, psychic readings, clowny fabric art, and more! Stay tuned for spotlights of each vendor!

The opening and closing Flash Mob Clown parades are free, downtown, and will follow an accessible route, which will be shared closer to the event. We want young clowns, old clowns, happy clowns, and sad clowns to come out and join this impromptu parade. Bring your noise makers, instruments, flags, and flow arts as we parade through downtown, passing out clown noses and pulling on-lookers into our stampede of silliness!

Dark Circus is an invitation to play, be goofy, and clown around for your health and support the community. It’s a volunteer run event, where profits go to the talent, the venue, and the organization. Gainesville Goths is a DIY collective. Find us on discord, Facebook,or Instagram

This time it's at The Atlantic in the AC. We are giving prizes to the best festival and rave looks. Day Rave is about making the festival accessible. Come out and dance without worrying about bedtime. Music will be a mix of techno, dnb, ebm, industrial bass, hyperpop, footwork, and more! 21 up for $5

Ever just start drawing with eyeliner and switching sides till voila, there's something fun happening? I had no plan. I dressed first and went with vampire, demon, sexy, dominatrix vibes. I hope it inspires you to experiment and see what you create! I'm 45, nonbinary, and love this community!

Hi, first time posting. I am a painter and DJ who recently started working touch designer into my creative process. This was a quick example I made with camera input, thresholds, mirrors, edges, and negate comp. I put it in front of my family and my 94 year old family member (who's an established gallery artist and ex art professor) instantly started playing with it. It might not be technically fancy, but it has a magic power to get people to play which is why I do it. Hope you enjoy! More play! More play! More play! 💕

Wonderfully weird specimen that only grows on decaying magnolia cones.

Didn't get a blacklight photo 😭 but all the purple, pink, and contacts were reactive. I've been working on finding makeup looks that fit my name Wild Creatrix 🎉💥🕺

MECHABOOM is back for another round of bass-thumping, pulsating beats!

High-energy EDM all night with Wild Creatrix + Dillon Rose playing drum & bass, electro, house, techno, breakbeats, and whatever else moves the floor.
