I've seen some posts of people riding on bike trails with beautiful scenery. Where I live it's dirt roads and a highway without a shoulder. I live in a town of 800 so it only takes a few laps to see everything.
I had a very rough winter, mostly due to an event at work that left me on admin leave for 3 months (I didn't do anything wrong, just policy). I'm finally back to work, the snow is gone, and I've been sleeping. I get off of work at midnight and am usually wide awake at 8-9 am.
So I actually have energy for once. A few days ago I went on a shorter hike through a wooden railroad tunnel. Kind of a cool historical site.
