Ecoflow bad experience
I will share here my experience so far with ecoflow so you can consider for yourself if its worth it or not to buy from this brand.
On 25/03/2026, I bought an EcoFlow Stream system with 2 solar panels (bought on Amazon Spain). I received the item on the 2nd of April. After 2 days of testing, I kept having errors in the application related to power grid injection (on average, every 30 minutes I got one error ; I had to restart the system manually for it to start working again). I contacted EcoFlow about that, and after providing serial numbers, some screenshots, and times when errors happened , they told me my unit was faulty and I needed to return it. So far, so good ; it happens, so I requested a return and refund on 15/04/2026 and bought another new unit. This is where the real issues begin.
Regardigng the damgage unit: (as of 8-05-2026)
They were taking a long time to pick up the item to return, so after a week, I started asking them for timelines on when they would pick up the item and refund me. I always got a response like , " Thank you for your patience, " and nothing was, in fact, done. It took them 21 days to just collect the item (with me reminding them every 2 days that I was waiting). Finally, they came to pick up the item, they processed it, and I got a message saying my refund was issued ; I would get my money in 3 to 5 business days. So I went to Amazon's refund page to make sure all was okay, and to my surprise, they partially refunded me. They sent me a faulty unit, I returned it, and got only ~80% of the money I spent on it. When I saw this, I sent a message to EcoFlow, but for the times I talked with them in the last month, they took between 1 and 1.5 full days to respond. So I contacted Amazon to report this behavior. Before Amazon can take action, they need to give the seller 48 hours to respond and rectify the situation. I am waiting on that now ; I will post updates when I have them.
Update: 05-09-2026, so i had reported to Amazon teh partial refund, after that i can see now on the amazon website it changed for the full ammount. Ecoflow just sent me a message saying, i will be getting a full refund, but no explanation on why was first triggered a partial refund. Still didnt get the money in my account, so i cannot consider this closed yet, but i think its a good step moving forward.
Regardigng the new unit i bough to replace the damaged one: (as of 8-05-2026)
Bought on day 19/04/2026 . After a week with no updates on the delivery, I asked for the tracking number, where I noticed there have been no updates since I bought the item. I kept sending messages to EcoFlow about this almost every day and asked for updates about it. I only got a useful message yesterday saying they lost track of the package and would have to send it again. It took them 18 days to understand the item is lost and give me
some type of response other than "thank you for your patience ."
Update: 05-09-2026: After Amazon open a "dispute" Ecoflow they responded to me with just confirmation of stuff we already aknowlage in prior messages, like battery was delivered and solar pannels not (yeh i know that since day 24 of April at least, and was reported by me to you). They are now asking me if i dont got any SMS for the delivery, and no i didnt, i had already someone responded to me by the ecoflow team some days back saying the item was lost because was stuck in the same status since day 23 of April. Also they added, they can partial refund me the solar pannels but i have to contact the delivery compnay saying i dont want the items anymore, after this after Ecoflow receive the items in their warehouse they will refund me the solar pannels.
First, if the solar pannels are lost, how will ecoflow receive them back by the delivery company? (I guess they are trying put me on the loss)
Second, ecoflow is responsible for the delivery, so they need to handle it
Third, i already told them, if the solar pannels do not arrive by the 15 of May (1 Month after i bough them) i want the money back. But the full ammount not the partial. For what do i need the battery without the solar pannels? I return the battery and i want the full 1400€. When i believed this could not became worst, it just did. Lets see what amazon tell me tomorrow (end of the 48h waiting peiord)
In short my experience its a headache.
- Almost one month of back and foward thru messages to a support that doesnt help.
- They are unable to rectify a situation caused by them fast (refering to the damage from factory item).
- They are unable give feedback about deliveries or undertsand where there packages are.
- At this moment i payed ecoflow 2394€ and have no products working in my posession.
Think twice before you buy from them, i am having all of this trouble with new items, imagine if you have any issues months or a year after you bough it.
I will keep updates on my case so might help someone else in the future, but as his at moment do not recomend. Buy from another brand.
