I tried to jailbreak my kindle 4th gen but failed?
I experienced issues jailbreaking my 4th gen (no touch, no keyboard) and miraculously one of the times I did a forced shutdown it worked and the jailbreak was successful. I think this whole process is a bit confusing because I’m not the most tech advanced and the device is old and a lot of info is for newer devices.
What I need help figuring out is the post jailbreak stuff. I want to be able to download books from Libby/libraries. I followed the direction on kindle modding and when I click on my Kual book thing in the kindle, it says “Mobileread Kindlet Kit is not installed”.
Any advice on how to get this up and running so I can get KOreader?
Is there another way I can download books to my kindle without these being functional?
Is there a way to download books without using my laptop? I’ll be traveling for a long period of time without a laptop and am wondering how to download stuff using my phone.
