I've had a basic since 2018 and I've always just... read books on it. I honestly don't understand the obsession with what the edges of the screen look like or how perfectly the light is distributed. I was honestly just blown away that it was so easy to read in the dark. Just enjoy your books
This is what happens when you try to remove a case from the plastic Ube kindle. This is a flexible clear case. Yes, it does snap back together but this is… alarming. I did see a video about this on tiktok with the kindle branded case as well. I have the aluminum basic here for comparison and it does not break apart like this. Just giving everyone a heads up that it may be worth spending $20 more for something that doesn’t fall apart.
The new Kindle lineup colors are so tempting (light blue is my fav color), but my current Paperwhite is already a fantastic device and this $25 from Etsy skin scratched the blue itch 😸 Took some patience but was worth it!
Still happy with my Kindle 2022.
>Safe to say I have officially converted.
>I held off getting a Kindle for years because I was stubborn about physical copies and the "tactile experience." Well, two days in, and being able to read in pitch-black darkness without turning on a lamp or blinding myself with a phone screen has completely changed my life.
>Decorated my case with a few stickers to make it feel a bit more homey. How long did it take you all to fully switch over from physical books?
I'm so happy for this purchase!! I'd never thought I'd want one since I love physical books until I recently started reading Chinese novels!! they have many volumes most of the times (the last series I read had 11, my current read has 7 or 8). I own some physical copies and I actually prefer them but it take weeks to ship them from the US to my country and I'm an ANXIOUS PERSON. now when I finish reading one volume and need to go to the next one, I can immediately do so on my kindle and calmly buy their physical copies for my collection! ❤️
I had been reading on my phone for 8+ hours for almost a year before this purchase. my eyes were sore and red constantly. thank god I finally got my hands on a kindle! I'm very satisfied! I was worried on whether it had a dictionary and a translating option or not; thank god it does!!
honestly I wish I could get the Colorsoft instead, because of my books' gorgeous covers, expanded covers and illustrations which come in the inside and are in color. I'd also love to highlight text in different colors and use the warm filter, but this model is too expensive for me right now :( it's definitely going to be my next purchase though!! 🤞
anyways I'm sooooooo happy with my basic 2024 kindle! I have no words to describe how happy I am!!
any tips for beginners? I know nothing about e-readers!
Decided on a refurbished Kindle Oasis since prime day and the new drops were a rip off to me.
I am in loveee ❤️ Fingers crossed that it lasts a few years 🤞🏾
I purchased the Kindle paperwhite signature bundle. It includes what you see here the leather sling bag specifically made for the Kindle.
I’m still waiting on the Kindle due to the fact that it has not been released yet, but they already have sent me the sling bag.
Does anyone else hate the new Kindle? It’s so annoying to use. Touch the top and you get one of two options. Look for your page number. Oh it’s hiding somewhere. I could go on but just really want to know if anyone else Hates the new Kindle?
How people are saying that this Kindle screen is not crisp hahaha, I love the kindle matcha 💚
Since the day they were announced, I have been obsessed with the Ube Kindle basic I wanna order one so bad but I just got my colorsoft the day before they were announced so instead of buying one when I woke up today. I decided I wanted a new insert lol After digging through all of my stickers and all of Pinterest, lol I just decided to make one! Next refresh is a purple skin.
In honor of the new kindle’s and everyone who wants to upgrade picking up theirs; here’s to my kindle colorsoft. I’ve had this baby since January, almost a year now and it’s rekindled my love for reading. Here’s my cute case, these ghost remind me of Pac-man hehe. Ft my current read for the spooky season
Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Bundle: Includes, Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition 32GB | Page Turn Cover
And Kindle Sling Bag, SCAD Designer Collection | Premium Recycled Leather Crossbody with Keychain Wristlet Stand & Charm
I splurged. However Due to now being able to still have the warm light and page turner buttons it was time.
My Oasis will remain at home for reading. My new paperwhite will be my ion the go and tracing Kindle.
Has anyone else done this.
