Finally got a Kindle after months reading for 8+ hours on my phone
I'm so happy for this purchase!! I'd never thought I'd want one since I love physical books until I recently started reading Chinese novels!! they have many volumes most of the times (the last series I read had 11, my current read has 7 or 8). I own some physical copies and I actually prefer them but it take weeks to ship them from the US to my country and I'm an ANXIOUS PERSON. now when I finish reading one volume and need to go to the next one, I can immediately do so on my kindle and calmly buy their physical copies for my collection! ❤️
I had been reading on my phone for 8+ hours for almost a year before this purchase. my eyes were sore and red constantly. thank god I finally got my hands on a kindle! I'm very satisfied! I was worried on whether it had a dictionary and a translating option or not; thank god it does!!
honestly I wish I could get the Colorsoft instead, because of my books' gorgeous covers, expanded covers and illustrations which come in the inside and are in color. I'd also love to highlight text in different colors and use the warm filter, but this model is too expensive for me right now :( it's definitely going to be my next purchase though!! 🤞
anyways I'm sooooooo happy with my basic 2024 kindle! I have no words to describe how happy I am!!
any tips for beginners? I know nothing about e-readers!
