Hey comrades.
I am writing this post to urge all of you to get organised, especially now as we see shifts towards the right and far right in many western countries.
As ideologically committed Marxists we should strive to fight imperialism in all its forms, including that carried out by our own countries. (yes, I’m looking at us Westerners here)
I know from experience that it can feel overwhelming. It can feel like you won’t make a difference, or that organising is a big step to take. But without organisation, we remain isolated. Only through organised solidarity can we build the strength needed to change society.
So please go out and join a party.
And if there’s nothing in your local area, reach out to national organisations and ask about starting something local. If not you, then who?

I am a member of the Danish Marxists-Leninist party, Kommunistisk Parti (KP). If you live in the Copenhagen metropolitan area, you may have seen our party name at the regional and provincial elections.
We do a lot of work with organisations such as the Danish-Cuban Friendship Organisation, the union movement and anti-war protest groups (for Palestine, Iran, Venezuela and others)
