I'm in my 6th or 8th try at the all modifiers run (minus veteran mode cuz I'm not entirely a masochist), with a character that i managed to get up to lv 180+ after finishing the game on veteran the 1st time and decided i wanted to try and get every Steam Achievement for the game.
As Ironman goes, i had to restart a number of times as per *Skill Issue* situation and i eventually got to having a decent run, did the whole pilgrim's perch 1st and got the rune of Adyr just to make sure i don't have to get to that area anymore (i just want the modifiers related achievements) and eventually got to Damarose's Cave with the vestige and decided to try something new with a build in Echoes of Battle against Tancred believing it to be safe no matter if i die or not, since it's basically not the main game and it's a vestige activity.
Lo and behold, went in the fight without a care in the world and I died eventually only to be met with the Ironman death screen informing me that my progress will be restarted... And so it was... I got sent back to the beginning and I'm not feeling like i have to just take a break from the game and just try to let the anger and frustration dissipate...
Anyway, this is a heads up for whoever wants to try Ironman modifier, if you get into Echoes of Battle just to test stuff, know that you might just put your entire progress at risk.
