I was cutting corners of some 1/4" plywood. They were 6" x 6" pieces of plywood and I was taking 1 1/4" off each corner at a 45-degree angle. I had done this 60+ times today with no problem. Then the saw “jumped” and the blade came out of alignment (I think) and wrecked stuff. The blade wedged itself into the back of the saw and broke some plastic parts. I took the blade off and laid it on my router table surface to see if the blade was bent, warped, twisted or at fault and it looks flat on both sides. *** No one was hurt***.
Would you advise I try to repair it or get rid of it?
