After being a foster home and socialising two terrified little cats for four months, I finally have my very own Maine Coon! Wonda is three years old and was supposed to be a breeding cat, but she has a mild degree of hip dysplasia, and didn't get along with the other lady cats after being sterilised, so I get to have her instead!
I was certain that she'd spend her first night hiding in the tower or the closet, but as SOON as I went to bed, she flopped over right into my side, purring and kneading and pushing her head into my hand 🥹 I nearly cried, it's been so long since I had an affectionate cat...
I'm beside myself with joy ❤️
