New work

My favorite glazes on the mug designs I think they look best on! All cone 10 porcelain with glazes I make. Some oxidation and some reduction.

My newest glaze combo Ultra Violet

Cone 10 oxidation glaze. It’s been such a pain to get purples to work at high fire. The deep blue underglaze really makes it pop

Happy accident

I accidentally mixed a Shino glaze with a cone 6 porcelain slip. Fired it and was blown away. Then added black glaze to the cracks and fired it again and was absolutely floored. Top 3 favorite thing I’ve ever made!

My tallest piece ever!

Just pulled this out of the kiln and had to share. Super proud of this 23 inch tall vase!

My tallest pieces I’ve ever made

But they are only 25 inches before firing… Anyone else run into this? Feel like you made something massive but realize after firing it’s gonna be less than two feet tall and suddenly doesn’t feel so epic?
