Neverender is finally in my hands—and I’ve finally trained with the finished product.

After all the write-ups, formula breakdowns, and anticipation, I still couldn’t know exactly how everything would come together until I tried it myself. There was a lot of anxiety and second-guessing. Would I love it? Would it be something I could truly be proud to put my name behind?

I’m incredibly happy to say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the packaging to the formula and the training experience, this is everything I hoped it would be. (Still doesn’t taste great tho! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!)

I created Neverender because I wanted to make something I’d love using and be excited to share with you. In this video, I go deep into the ingredients, why I chose them, and how the finished product came together.

After Dark Void is back on the channel. I previously reviewed this pre-workout, but roughly a year later, the formula has been subtly revamped and new flavors have been introduced. So it’s time to give it another honest look and see whether the updated version is worth your hard-earned dollar.

Void takes a fully loaded approach, combining pump and performance support, nootropics, and a serious stimulant package. In practice, the experience is easy to appreciate: I feel fired up, energized, focused, and ready to train. The pumps are solid, focus is present, and the alpha-yo provides that familiar head-buzzing sensation with a subtle euphoric mood lift. I’ve never had a bad workout on this pre-workout.

However, the label raises some questions. Certain ingredients appear to be underdosed or pixie-dusted into the formula, and I’m not entirely sure how much they contribute to the overall experience at the amounts provided. In some cases, I think those ingredients could have been left out altogether, or the formula could have leaned more heavily into the ingredients that actually drive the experience.

That makes After Dark Void an interesting one to review. If I simply took this pre-workout without looking at the label, I’d tell you that it delivered a great workout, good pumps, strong energy, solid focus, and noticeable mood elevation. But as a supplement reviewer, I also have to point out where the formulation choices seem strange.

At the end of the day, we aren’t taking pre-workouts to read ingredient labels—we’re taking them to get energized, focused, and performing better in the gym. On that front, After Dark Void consistently delivers.

I had the extreme pleasure of getting to test Xtremis Cartel El Jefe Leyenda Edition a few days before it officially dropped, and from the moment I saw the label, I knew this one had serious potential.

Leyenda basically takes the best parts of every El Jefe version and combines them into one tub: the nootropic feel from Neuro, the aggression and stim edge from Fuego, the performance elements from Guerrilla, and the base skeleton of the original white tub, with some new additions thrown in.

So how does it actually come together in the real world?

In my opinion, this is not just one of the best non-exotic pre-workouts out right now. This is one of the best pre-workouts, period.

You get pumps, performance, focus, energy, mood elevation, and that locked-in “in the bubble” feeling where your mind, muscles, and entire system feel charged and ready to go. It builds for a solid hour before really hitting its peak of mood elevation, head-high stimulation, and driven training intensity.

And the crazy part is, even with 3mg of Alpha Yo, the energy does not feel overly harsh or dirty. The formula includes heavy nootropic support like 5g tyrosine, Alpha-GPC, and L-Dopa, which I think helps create that sharp neural drive while smoothing out some of the rougher edges. The Alpha Yo is definitely there, and it definitely adds aggression, but the real star of the show is the feel-good mood elevation and full-body charged-up sensation.

No crash, no ugly comedown, just an elite pre-workout experience from start to finish.

I also had the chance to talk back and forth with Jake about the formulation process on this one, and it’s clear a lot of testing, tweaking, and trialing went into making Leyenda what it is. It feels like a true passion-project formula, and for me personally, this is exactly the type of pre-workout I love.

Is it my favorite El Jefe ever? I’ve only ran it twice so far, so it’s hard to say. I still have a soft spot for Fuego because that one may be a little more aggressive overall, but Leyenda is absolutely the more complete, well-rounded experience.

Dark Labs VYB3D is here, and it appears to be the spiritual successor to the very popular Dark Labs Euphoria capsules.

The original Euphoria formula was simple but effective: 100mg DMHA paired with 100mg Eria. VYB3D takes that same general concept and adds 100mg of Kanna extract, which immediately had a lot of people raising eyebrows.

But with Kanna, context matters. Not all Kanna extracts hit the same. This isn’t listed as KannaEase, Zembrin, or one of the more well-known, heavily relaxing extracts. It also isn’t positioned as some wildly stimulating extract either. So while 100mg sounds high on paper, the real-world effect depends heavily on the extract type and alkaloid profile.

So how does it compare to Euphoria?

I ran two capsules with caffeine, because in my opinion DMHA and Eria don’t fully shine as standalone stimulants. Add a little caffeine to get things moving, though, and the experience starts to come alive.

What I got from VYB3D was a very strong uplift in drive, focus, tunnel vision, productivity, and mood. The mood elevation may have even been stronger than the original Euphoria capsules, which I’d likely attribute to the Kanna addition and its serotonin-related effects.

That said, I didn’t get quite the same classic DMHA buzz or head-high that people loved from Euphoria. I also wouldn’t say it became full-blown euphoric, despite being very mood elevating.

The real star here was focus, drive, and lock-in. I was insanely productive for about three hours. Just go, go, go.

I’m very curious to try this stacked with a pre-workout next. I was initially hesitant because pairing this with a fully loaded pre could push the Kanna dose pretty high, but next time I’m thinking three capsules alongside something more daily-driver style.

As always, this is just my personal experience and not medical advice. Use responsibly, know your tolerance, and be cautious combining stimulants or mood-modulating ingredients.

Lifted Hyperdrive popped up as a new product on NutriCartel, and honestly, the label immediately caught my attention.

I had not really heard anyone talking about this one, but after seeing the profile, I decided to pull the trigger based off the label alone. We’re talking a full 10 grams of citrulline, beta-alanine, alpha-GPC, and a pretty impressive stimulant package featuring caffeine, eria, and a massive 4 milligrams of alpha-yo.

So how does it actually come together?

Honestly, this one hit very nice and pretty much how you would expect from a label like this, with a couple caveats. The energy is strong, but smooth. The mood elevation and focus are very noticeable, and it has that physical drive that keeps you pushing through the session without feeling sloppy or overwhelming.

The one thing I will say is that when I saw 4 milligrams of alpha-yo on the label, I was expecting an absolutely bonkers experience. And while the alpha-yo was definitely there, and the pre-workout was definitely strong, it honestly felt closer to something like 2.5 milligrams of alpha-yo in the real world.

Still, Lifted Hyperdrive ended up being a very solid, high-energy, feel-good pre-workout that kind of flew under the radar

NutraFit Symbiote has been one of my favorite pre-workouts for a long time. It’s always felt like one of those formulas that outperforms the label, and after going through multiple tubs, I think I’ve figured out part of why.

I decided to re-review it after noticing a couple of changes to the formula. Neuro Rush has been replaced by NeuroSYNQ, a 150 mg blend of ginkgo biloba and gotu kola. After speaking with the owner, I was told Neuro Rush is no longer being manufactured. I don’t expect this change to dramatically alter the experience, but the combination may still complement the other nootropics and mood-enhancing ingredients in the formula.

I also noticed the alpha-yohimbine is now listed as a 98% extract. The only other pre I know with a 98% alpha yo is wrecked Enraged…. And we all know how strong that is. I can’t confirm whether the sourcing has changed, or if this is the same source Wrecked uses, but this new tub definitely hit hard. Full transparency, I didn’t compare the old and new versions back-to-back, so I can’t say definitively that it’s stronger.

One of the biggest reasons I think Symbiote feels so unique is its NeuroMZO kanna extract. While some forms of kanna are used primarily to smooth out heavy stimulants, NeuroMZO appears to have a more stimulating, mood-forward alkaloid profile. It’s a high mesembrine kanna where as something like kannaEase is high memsembreone which completely changes the effect. That may be part of why Symbiote delivers such a distinct combination of euphoria, aggression, focus, energy and thermogenesis without simply feeling like another high-stim formula.

Overall, Symbiote remains one of my favorites and one of the few pre-workouts I’ve bought multiple tubs of. It’s still one of my top recommendations for a high-end stim-junkie daily driver.

HyperBlaze from PerformX Labs was one I was genuinely excited to try because it’s essentially a thermogenic spin on one of my favorite pre-workouts of all time: HyperMaxed Out.

The core of the formula keeps a lot of what made HyperMaxed Out so good, including 8 grams of citrulline, 3.2 grams of beta-alanine, NeuroPEA stacked with beta-PEA, and a hefty 475 milligrams of caffeine.

Where HyperBlaze separates itself is the fat-burning and thermogenic side of the formula. PerformX adds multiple forms of carnitine, Paradoxine®, Cocoabuterol®, GBB, and bumps the patented YoMax® blend from 15 milligrams in HyperMaxed Out to 20 milligrams here.

And that 20 mg YoMax dose is probably the part that will either get people really excited… or really nervous.

HyperMaxed Out includes 100 mg of ConaEase®, which helps smooth out the alpha-yohimbine experience. HyperBlaze removes that, so on paper I expected this formula to potentially get a little wild.

Surprisingly, it hit just right.

The energy is high, aggressive, and extremely consistent, but it never crossed over into that anxious or uncomfortable territory. I’d describe it as a very positive aggression—you’re in a good mood, you feel driven, and you just want to attack the weights.

The thermogenic effect is also noticeable throughout the entire workout. You feel warm, activated, and ready to train, but it never becomes excessive. No ridiculous sweating, no uncomfortable overheating, and no feeling like the fat-burning ingredients are taking away from the actual workout experience.

Even better, that thermogenic effect didn’t seem to linger for hours afterward like some formulas can.

Start to finish, HyperBlaze gave me excellent energy, enhanced focus, elevated mood, and a very noticeable thermogenic edge without ever pushing things too far into the red zone.

Overall, this was just a really fun, well-balanced high-stim experience.

Apollon Nutrition Cyclone takes a completely different approach to the typical pre-workout formula. Rather than chasing extreme stimulation, Cyclone focuses more heavily on performance, cognition, endurance, and overall athletic output—essentially a more health-conscious take on the pre-workout category.

My favorite part of the formula was the nootropic combination of L-Tyrosine, Lion’s Mane, CDP-Choline, and enXtra. These stack together extremely well for focus, mental clarity, and overall training mentality. I generally prefer Alpha-GPC, but CDP-Choline still provides a noticeable level of focus, while Lion’s Mane is an ingredient I enjoy both for its potential long-term cognitive benefits and the sense of mental well-being I personally get from it.

On the performance side, the combination of Betaine, PeakATP, and Senactiv delivered solid endurance, recovery, and that feeling that you can continue pushing hard without your performance falling off. I’m also a big fan of the inclusion of MicroActive® CoQ10, especially since I already use ubiquinol regularly as part of my own performance-focused supplement regimen.

Despite containing only 200mg of caffeine, Cyclone gave me more energy than I expected thanks to how well the caffeine synergized the enXtra and the rest of the nootropic formula. I was able to get through a hard leg session with great focus and solid overall performance.

For me personally, I still prefer a heavier stimulant experience for my hardest bodybuilding workouts. Where Cyclone really shines for me personally is as a nootropic, cardio formula, or something to use before my athletic training.

Overall, this is a very high-quality and intelligently designed formula. If you want performance and focus without relying on massive doses of stimulants, Cyclone is definitely worth considering.

What actually makes a GOOD pre-workout?

Is it a loaded label packed with clinically dosed ingredients, or does what actually happens when you take it matter more?

There’s absolutely value in a well-designed formula. Properly dosed ingredients for pumps, endurance, focus, hydration, and performance can provide legitimate benefits. But I also think we sometimes get too caught up in judging pre-workouts entirely by the Supplement Facts panel.

You can look at a formula that seems underdosed, poorly designed, or basically built around a handful of stimulants and immediately dismiss it as a “bad” pre-workout. Then you actually take it, get completely fired up and locked in, and suddenly you’re adding reps, moving more weight, and performing at a noticeably higher level.

So was it really a bad pre-workout?

Ultimately, one of the most important questions should be: Did it make you train better?

If a pre-workout gets you energized, focused, and driven enough to significantly improve your performance, there’s an argument that this could matter more for long-term progress than having the prettiest Supplement Facts panel imaginable.

Obviously, the best scenario is both: an intelligently designed formula with effective performance ingredients that ALSO delivers an incredible experience.

But I don’t think pre-workouts fit neatly into “good formula” and “bad formula.” In this video, we’re breaking down what actually makes a pre-workout effective—and why judging one purely by its label might be missing the point

Project M Supplements was actually one of the first companies to ever reach out and send me products, and for that I’ll always be grateful. I genuinely wanted to like these products, and I went into every review hoping the next one would finally change my mind.

Unfortunately, after trying multiple releases, I keep coming back to the same conclusion.

On paper, the formulas often look incredibly promising. But in real-world use, the experience has consistently fallen short of what the label suggests. Whether that’s due to ingredient sourcing, manufacturing consistency, or something else entirely, I can’t say. I can only judge what I actually experience.

This isn’t a video saying Project M makes “bad” products. Plenty of people may genuinely enjoy them, and not every product I’ve tried has been a complete miss. The issue is that I don’t feel comfortable recommending products when I don’t believe the real-world performance consistently lives up to the claims on the label.

I know Project M has worked with a lot of reviewers over the years, and I think that’s part of the problem as a lot of “smaller creators” feel obligated to oversell the products because not a lot of brands are willing to work with them. But if you read between the lines in other reviews, the language almost always points to “the product is or what it should be according to the label.”

At the end of the day, I’d rather disappoint a company than disappoint the people who trust my reviews.
