Is there any place that rents out a weed wrench like the Extractigator or Uprooter? My septic drain field is starting to get infested with scotch broom and I need a tool to pull them out by their roots.
I was thinking of soaking the ground using a hose to make it easier to pull by hand, but I suspect it'll still be back breaking work.
This may be a strange request, but wasn't sure where to ask - is there any place in Olympia or Lacey where I can buy enough topsoil to fill up 8 5-gallon plant pots? I have a huge yard but it's solid clay at this point and is like digging into concrete so I'd rather spend some money to make it easier on my back.
Ideally I'd drive up with a shovel and fill my pots and then pay for it, guessing roughly 4 cubic foots worth.
EDIT: the bark store is the closest to me and they said 1/4 yard (enough to fill 10 5-gallon buckets) is $10, so i'll be heading there this weekend :) thanks for the suggestions everyone!
