About RDNA 3 FSR 4.1 compatibility on already existing games:
May I ask, for RDNA 3, does this need an individual game update or will a driver update be enough to actually do the job?
For example Ghost of Tsushima, AC Shadows, and Resident Evil Requiem(Already got the FSR 4-ready for RDNA 4 support but that's before RDNA 3 has FSR 4 support)
Like if the game's last update was like several months prior to the RDNA 3 FSR 4 launch, but the game is FSR 4-ready by then(only for 9000 Series as of now), will the FSR 4 be automatically selectable in the in-game upscaling options on RDNA 3 since technically it should be supported out of the box by July? Or do I have to wait for a game update, so still have to use Optiscaler since the patch is not updated enough to think that even RDNA 3 is also eligible and still thinks that FSR 4 option is 9000 Series only?
How do outdated/non-July-patched games w/ FSR 4 behave? Are they like racistly hard coded 'FSR 4 == RX 9000 Series cards only' or is it adaptable like FSR 4 become automatically whitelisted on RDNA 3 since it just looks at the updated driver?
How was it back then when old gen gpus suddenly got a new upscaling support?
