is there some kind of software I can use to pause installing

Im using steamrip and want to pirate hitman world of assassination but it’s 80 gigs, I don’t want to risk the install failing on Firefox. Is there some kind of software I can use so I can pause or shut off my computer and resume when i turn it back on?

HELP!!! 007 First Light won't let me play beyond the first mission.

I've tried putting the application in dedicated graphics mode, checked all the files during installation (I played throught the first mission thrice), I've reinstalled my graphics driver, resigned the steam id in the save files with the file save transfer, nothing seems to work, running as administrator does nothing, the game is just stuck at the end of the opening credits scene after the first mission. What am I doing wrong? How to fix this?? Help me out please.

Stupid question but I'm new to this stuff

I'm completely new to all of this stuff, and I was wondering about the differences between torrenting and directly downloading. I originally thought that torrenting was just the act of making games distributable for others to pirate but now I'm not so sure. Any clarification would be appreciated.

Is piracy allowed in this case?

I have a question: if I buy a game for PlayStation and later want to play it on PC, am I allowed to pirate it? Since I already paid for it the first time, why should I buy it again? Does that that make sense?
