Opinions on the various Steam lua game loaders, Luatools, Hubcaptools, etc

Generally curious to hear peoples opinions on this, FMHY lists Luatools right now as the best one. Steamidra was talked about here a fair bit for a while but was blatantly a buggy AI vibe coded mess, while it did work there were better options out there and now the creator has gone MIA (someone working on a fork but that's really just trying to keep a mess alive when there are better options).

I personally am using Luatools nowadays which seems to function well and is clean and they have their own manifest database which doesn't require hubcap api key.

Hubcap has long been known to have the best database of manifests and seemingly as a response to Steamidra and Luatools brought their own version out called Hubcaptools and now they're extremely hostile to anybody not using their own tool, thing is Luatools went open source and Hubcaptools isn't, and by the attitude of hubcap community in discord I genuinely don't think I can trust a closed source tool of this nature. I think part of the reason hubcap isn't open source is because they flamed other tools for being AI code when their own program is probably AI code too, especially since a lot of their announcements on disc are usually AI written too. Luatools is clearly also AI coded but not a memory leaking disgusting mess like Steamidra was.

Curious about other opinions on these tools and any I didn't mention and why. Don't care about snark or sarcastic comments without basis to back them up.

Recovered money lost after Infostealer infection + compensation!

For context I live in the UK so we have specific rules for banks to handle unauthorised transactions which is why this ended in my favour.

I got infected with an Infostealer back in May and £50 was stolen through my ebay account, they bought a software key. I reported it immediately and ebay advised me to open a chargeback with my bank and they would do something internally to make sure it goes through, they accepted my account was hacked.

Initially I got refunded within 24 hours but about a month later they clawed it back directly from my account saying that ebay had confirmed the transaction was authorised and used evidence such as my browser token and address and other transactions I didn't dispute. Visa rejected the chargeback due to this evidence and I spent weeks chasing ebay about this to no avail, their internal systems fought the chargeback despite them acknowledging it wasn't an authorised payment.

At this point I went through the official complaints procedure with my bank as their clawing back of the money without asking for further evidence, the way I understand, was against PSR 2017 rules in which banks have to treat fraud claims fairly and refund them within 24 hours unless they have solid reason to believe a customer is committing first party fraud.

After waiting another month and a half for their complaints process my bank admitted they gave me poor service, agreed to refund the original £50 I had stolen and an extra £150 compensation for stress and inconvenience caused by their poor service.

Overall an absolute win considering the stress I went through when I was first infected, ever since I got infected and learned about the epidemic of Infostealers I browsed this subreddit a lot so figured I'll post my experience here.

To be clear this was my bank refunding me based on UK laws and due to the way ebay treated my fraud claim I technically didn't recover the original money, I believe the merchant still got paid. My bank are the ones who lost out in the end. If ebay + visa did their process properly then it would've been ebay payment services taking the hit instead.

Account hacked - eBay gave weird advice and is now saying to ignore bank letters about my fraud claim being rejected

Bear with me here. My account got hacked the other week when I got a virus on my PC, they hijacked my session cookie and bought a £50 antivirus software license. Spam bombed my email so I'd miss the order and also used my saved payment info which never triggered a 2fa notification on my bank.

I recovered my account the same day with eBay support and they advised me to wait 3 days, that they were taking internal action and then I should chargeback through my bank as a fraud claim. I did so and my bank refunded me immediately.

I have all my chat transcripts still of course but now almost a month later I got a letter from my bank saying the seller bank has disputed the chargeback with documents proving I authorised the payment (I didn't lol)

I went back to eBay support and they've been insisting that I should just ignore the bank letter because their system says the seller accepted the chargeback without dispute even though I have the bank letter right here saying it's going to be reclaimed in 14 days with documents of the reasons and the sellers evidence. I showed these docs to eBay and they're still insisting it won't be redebited but obviously I'm inclined to believe my bank here, I confirmed it with my bank on the phone too.

I got it in writing the eBay agents saying it won't be redebited, saying they can't help me because I opened a chargeback despite that being their advice, and them saying that although they're confident it won't be redebited they will assist further if it does. So now I'm just waiting for the charge to be re-taken and going to see what excuse they try come up with after the fact.

I have lodged a formal complaint with both eBay and my bank, ebay for not giving proper advice and conflicting information and my bank for rejecting the chargeback on bogus evidence.

The merchant bank used things like my address, browser id, email address and the fact I placed orders for unrelated OTC meds 6 months ago as proof my account wasn't compromised- despite eBay writing that my account was 100% compromised and the payment wasn't authorised.

I think the bank shouldn't have taken this evidence at face value because 1. it was a digital product so the details being the same is irrelevant 2. the details are just autofilled saved payments the hacker didn't even need to know them for them to show up the same on the order 3. the fact my browser token was hacked means all that evidence doesn't apply in this case anyway.

I just had to get this off my chest, eBay's advice has put me in this situation, as soon as I realised I was hacked I contacted them and followed their instructions to the letter and now my bank and eBay are both telling me they can't help. I'm awaiting their complaints departments to get back to me and will take my bank through financial ombudsman if they can't help. Insane situation.

Bloodborne no boss music at Cleric Beast

Hello any ideas? I have 5700x3d and 4080super no performance issues, I followed the guide using BBLauncher and everything else is working perfectly, just no music at cleric beast. I have bloodborne enhanced mod and a couple others, got the 60fps sound fix and 60fps patch.
