There is something fundamentally wrong with a business model that punishes its most loyal customers. We funded this project a year ahead of time, yet standard buyers got their copies first. We didn't pay a premium for excuses, we paid for the product. I've contacted Boss Team Games again and they stopped replying when I asked if they will be issuing us with a code to tied us over until our collectors edition plus other goodies arrive. It's now 20 mins past midnight and no shipping and no code. This whole thing has been a total shambles and is totally unacceptable.

Like a lot of you, I preordered the Hellrasier the moment preorders went live last year because I wanted to support the game and get the Collector’s Edition directly from them.

The delay itself isn’t really what bothers me. Stuff happens. It’s the lack of communication.

I had reached out a few weeks ago because I was worried about whether the physical copies would actually arrive by launch, and I was basically told they were planning to ship a few days before release so they can arrive as to close to launch. Then I reached out again, which I was told it would ship Monday.

Then, two days before launch, we suddenly get an email saying there were delays with certain components and that some Collector’s Editions won’t arrive by October 8.
That’s the part that annoys me. If they already knew there were delays, why not just tell us earlier?

I think most people would’ve been way more understanding if they had just said, “Hey, we’re having some production delays and some orders may be late.”

Instead, a lot of us who ordered over a year ago and spent a lot of money are sitting here with no tracking, while people who waited and ordered from Amazon or just buy it digitally can be playing at launch.

I’m still excited for the game, but the communication around this whole thing has been really disappointing.

I hope you have a great experience—the long wait will be over! I’m going to stop shitposting here and avoid this subreddit so that nothing is spoiled for me.

Just remember to pour one out for us awaiting the collector’s editions (awaiting anything at all really!) like idiots. We weren’t even worth a digital code for release day after spending $$$.

Have a blast—you have such sights to see!

Anyone receive their tracking info yet?

Look, I shouldn't be posting this, but after seeing how Saber and Boss Team have handled this launch, people deserve to know the truth.

Firstly, don't expect to receive your orders anytime soon.

Secondly, when they finally do show up, you are going to be disappointed all over again. The quality of these Collector's Editions is shockingly cheap, genuinely terrible, poorly made materials for the price people paid. The shipping disaster is bad enough, but the actual product is a massive letdown. Save yourselves from the suffering and walk away from them.

Picked this up this morning and have played through the intro. However I can't view trophies, even after I earn them. Doesn't list time played or trophy count on my PS profile either. Wondering if thats because the game isn't live world wide? I did get a day one patch. Loving it so far, awesome game!

Or is it just fuck you?

I feel like a lot of us who pre ordered back in July 2025 before there was a release date feel this way. Less than an hour from midnight and the only updates we’ve gotten are “sorry you have to wait longer than if you purchased it literally anywhere else”. What a horrid way to fumble this.

In all my years of gaming (off and on) this may be the most pathetic game launch I have ever witnessed. People pissed off left and right, no updates on shipping, no updates on digital codes, people scoring early copies, BestBuy emerging triumphant! All while not a word from anyone in charge. It’s so inept at this point it’s actually impressive.
