So apparently the Ending E, where Kaine somehow resurrects Nier, is the ending that links Nier and Nier Automata

But I don't understand why it matters which ending it is? By the time Nier Automata starts, the humans have been long gone. And no matter what ending the story has in Replicant/Gestlet, the humans are going to die sooner or later. The only difference is how much time they have. Nier Automata isn't just a few hundred years after the ending of Replicat/Gestalt, it's thousands of years later. The Gestalt program was already failing, and the human race was already dying out

Can someone please explain to me why Ending E is the one that's considered "canon" in the Nier Automata time-line?

Anyone else notice this? Or did someone really say it before Machiavelli?

This is probably a dumb question, but did I miss something in the first game?

I know there was shaving option, but I finished the game with Henry looking the same... Do I shave or simply change my hair style?

I've seen multiple images of Henry with a beard and longer hair, so I'm guessing there is a hair mechanic, but also guessing it doesn't actually grow naturally?

A side question, is it merely a cosmetic or does it apply any buffs?

I think I'm genuinely in love with this game now. I'm sure others feel this way about the game, but it's a really good game and deserves plenty of love

I bought KCD2, haven't not played 1 yet. Then I played 1 (through family share). I'll be honest and say I didn't expect to like the game, I feared I bought a game I don't like. The first game was good, thankfully I started feeling powerful by the end of the game. It had issues, and plenty of them, but nothing was too broken thankfully

But now I'm at the sequel, and absolutely everything is better! The combat, the animations, the flow. It's just all so enjoyable and feels great! I feel sad when a fight ends, or when a road trip is over

I'm curious what others think and feel about the sequal
