Should I play JP replicant on PS3 or 4?

I’m getting into Yoko Taro’s work. I play in Japanese, so I have the option of playing replicant on PS3.

I actually think Drag-on Dragoon is amazing and love older games and the unique feeling of the older technology and signs of age. For example, I also played both the original and rereleased versions of Dark Souls 1 and 2 and found myself vastly preferring the PS3 original versions.

It seems like with Nier though, Yoko Taro actually did a “proper” remaster that people seem to say is universally better than the original and is only closer to his vision rather than detracting it.

Does anyone here think PS3 replicant is worth playing instead of 4?

nier automata accessories unequipping on game restart

in nier automata when i equip accessories and restart the game (even after saving) they will unequip, i can play the game for however long i want, and even character switch (in the same chapter) without them being removed, but the minute i restart they're gone, is there any fix for this?

Need help in finding the artist

My friend bought this bag at Anime Expo in 2019 and is pretty much in tears over losing it. I want to try and buy a replacement, but I've had no luck so far in trying to find it.

Tips for a new player?

I just bought both NieR Replicant and NieR Automata and I wanted to play both blind and try to really take my time, get immersed and hopefully get plat trophies in both.

Is it a good idea to start with Replicant? Should I try to follow a guide for the achievements or not bother with it until I do a second playthrough?

On another notr I also saw some mangas and a world guide at a local shop. Would you recommend those?

Let me know if you have any general tips also! Im so excited to start my journey with these games!!

A2’s design question

So I’m really confused on something. What exactly on her body is the “Black undercoat” and what are the remnants of her past uniform?

It’s already obvious the cloth around her waist is a piece of her uniform, but what i am confused on is, for example, her right boot. Is the glossy black all supposed to be her boot? But then why are their thin black veins connected to the black on her pelvis? Is the synthetic skin on her chest just completely missing? What is even up with the black on her pelvis in Ver.1.1a, because it look like underwear.

I swear the more I analyze her design, the more confused I become. 😵‍💫

I feel like the official wiki is in direct contradiction with what we actually see with her anime adaptation and even the official character render for both Automata and Reincarnation.

Replicant is feeling a bit repetitive. Will it stay like this?

I love the music, characters, and even the combat of Replicant so far. I feel like the story is barely budging.

I've read some other threads on reddit. Is there a recommended way to do a story focused playthrough? I haven't done a single side quest and got the dlc that gave me the automata starting weapons. That has helped with the pacing. I'm considering doing the first ending and then watching videos to not re-experience playthroughs. What are the necessary playthroughs? Or are there any suggestions to cut the game down so I can get through all endings in under say 15 or 20 hours?

Question about second playthrough

So I finished the first playthrough for Ending A and I reloaded that save for Ending B.

It seems to be the same except we're playing from 9S's perspective, but there's some differences and other stuff that makes me think we might have had our memories wiped?

There's dialogue that I don't remember and I don't think can be chalked up to a difference in perspectives. I started the game a while back so I might be misremembering.

Am I on to something or am I completely wrong and this is just NG+ shenanigans? The big hole in the ground isn't there so I'm probably wrong. If it's spoilers then don't say anything.
