So I 16M recently came to Ahmedabad for 2 days, I am maharashtrian and it was my first time coming to Ahmedabad or Gujurat in general actually. I wasn't expecting it to be Bad or Underdeveloped or anything but what I saw genuinely shell-shocked me as a person from Mumbai. We got off at Sabarmati Railway station at 5:30 AM in the morning and promptly booked a cab via uber. The cab driver was very very nice and welcoming and he showed us the Sabarmati lakes and other landmarks on our way to the hotel which was in the old city. I am not saying this in a condescending way but I was genuinely surprised by how developed and good this city is as compared to Mumbai. The clean and nice roads, different bus lanes and greenery made me fall in love with this city. We are Muslim and My grandfather is very spiritual so on the first day we went to Sarkhej Roza, Shah Alam, Qutb Alam, and Explored the local masjids as well as jama masjid which was honestly so beautiful. I fell in love with this city, the food the kind people and the amazing old infrastructure and buildings. I can proudly say I Love Ahmedabad
