[Question] need help restoring old watch strap without damaging it
So i found this brilliant piece at an antique store and i just had to have it.
It fits my wrist, but the rubber or plastic that it’s made of has yellowed and stiffened to the point where the holes have obviously shrunk and don’t fit the clasp very well.
I love this thing, so i really don’t want to break it. Any tips on restoring this plastic/rubber and improving its elasticity that wont damage the images on its strap?
