Appreciation post for the gba games (rom hacks) because i want to get it out somewhere.
I just picked up fire emblem rom hacks for the gba, my first experience with this ip and game genre.
After 30+k hours of online PvP im generally fed up.
And the three gacha games i have installed make my 250gb phone storage choke out lol, +30gb of stored music.
So i was looking if theres anything interesting in the gba rom hacking scene thats NOT pokemon, i spent hundreds of hours in emerald rogue and unbound already.
And there it was, fire emblem.... Nah i dont care..... Then i dug a tiny bit deeper. There it was. What i really love. The self randomizer mega thread.
Full customization for the game IN ANY WAY I DESIRE!!

Im only like 10 hours into FE6 with all settings put to vanilla, which is what ill do for all the other hacks i got aswell, so i have an authentic experience first.
God damn im loving it so much. The first two hours i hated it. But the gameplay prospects grew VERY FAST on me.
What a lovely game, so many great rom hacks that allow me to customise the game to whatever i desire.
I even got some non randomizer rom hacks because im curious about the story they could hold.
Its been ages since an rpg hooked me like that from so little.
The last time was 4 years ago with chrono trigger nds.
