Bitlocker Locked Out and Cannot Access Recovery Key
I recently got a new laptop for my work in October and suddenly I have been locked out of it requesting a Bitlocker key. I was not even aware of this being a thing nowadays. It's the fucking stupidest encryption system I've EVER seen and it appears to have automatically been applied to the new laptop.
The problem, I can't unbrick my laptop because apparently I have security info that is completely out of date and obsolete. My online Microsoft account is linked to an email address that no longer exists and a phone number that also no longer exists. So I cannot access those to enter my Microsoft account either.
What are my options at this point? I cannot afford to wait 30 days for my account's new information to be accessible and this device is critical to my personal small business. It appears Bitlocker was triggered by a change to secure boot but I have no idea how that could have happened - is that a product of malware or ransomware?
My important personal data is stored in an online backup drive if need be but it's a real fucking hassle to transfer over again with my country's shit tier internet and will still cause quite a lot of loss of productivity.
