quest 3, built in quest link with an official cable
ok so first off I've owned and used link for around 3 years and have gone though every bug except this one, it's new.
I'll be playing a game or just sitting with my headset on and after like 20 minutes of it working perfectly it will suddenly make my screen black, when I press the home button it sends me out of the link into the regular oculus menu (not linked) if I press it again it goes back to the black screen.
I can still hear things and interact with things in game, as well as the game looking like it works fine on my monitor, but I just can't see anything.
after I close out of everything and restart my headset and computer it works again, but only for a limited amount of time.
also no this is not a cable problem, it works fine and I have had those issues in the past, this one is different
failed trouble shooting:
- restarting both devices (temp fix)
- closing link though task manager after disconnecting headset (temp fix)
- fully un-installing the oculus link app on desktop and manually deleting files associated with link (problem came back after a few sessions)
