After 3 attempts, I finally got laminated dough!! (Kouign Amann pastry)

I did 4 simple tours, 2 with butter only and 2 to add the sugar in (proper to the Kouign Amann pastry). I used a normal butter instead of tourage butter. They could have baked for a bit longer but overall it tastes exactly like my french childhood memories!!

It's pretty much layers of butter and sugar that caramelize in the oven.

I've learned a lot in the process, the texture isn't there yet as it turned out more cakey than flakey. But overall I'm pretty happy!!
