Overview: The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Iop is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a legendary Iop warrior, a long forgotten race known for their great physical strength, moral code…and great stupidity, and, upon awakening, a full Iop god. This makes them a Iop Human.

Appearance: The fruit resembles a crimson, pear-shaped fruit with flame-like black spiral markings. Its stem splits into two small golden leaves shaped like the horns of a warrior’s crest, giving it a divine, battle-ready appearance.

Etymology:
· “Iop” comes from the god Iop, the deity of war and martial prowess in the Wakfu/Dofus universe. Iop warriors are known for their immense physical strength, courage, and love of battle. Iops are courageous noseless human knights who let their weapons do the talking. If they knew what proverbs were, their favorite would definitely be “Act before you think.” Unfortunately, the size of their brains is inversely proportional to the size of their swords… Still, Iops are great protectors who are always appreciated in groups. Plus, they have such beautiful hair! They are renowned for being courageous knights who let their fist do the talking. Loyal to their god, Iops are spirited warriors and formidable protectors. When it comes to defending their strong opinions, Iops have no trouble letting their enemies know exactly how fierce they can be. Make a note of it!

· The fruit follows the standard naming convention for Mythical Zoan fruits based on human or humanoid divine beings, similar to the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika and Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Daibutsu.

Strengths: This fruit grants the user the body, instincts, and soul of an Iop warrior. Its main abilities are physical in nature, but it also allows for divine energy manipulation.** **The user gains a massive increase in physical strength, speed, endurance, and durability. Even in base form, the user’s body becomes naturally suited for close combat. They can shatter stone with punches, leap great distances, and survive attacks that would kill a normal human. One of the fruit’s most dangerous abilities is Iop’s Instinct. The user can read the flow of battle on an almost supernatural level, allowing them to dodge, counter, and exploit openings without conscious thought. This makes the user a natural martial genius, even if they had no prior combat training. The user can generate a visible battle aura, usually crimson or white, which increases their striking power and can intimidate weaker opponents. The aura grows stronger the more excited, angry, or determined the user becomes.

Weaknesses: The fruit has all standard Devil Fruit weaknesses: the user cannot swim and loses strength when submerged in water or exposed to Seastone. In addition, upon eating the fruit the users general iq and common sense takes a nose dive. The Iop power responds strongly to anger and excitement. If the user loses control of their emotions, they may enter a berserk state where they attack friend and foe alike. There have been times where users have completely lost themselves and gone insane to this fruit. quirky-ness becoming lunacy, rudeness becoming vulgar, laid-backness becoming laziness, love for battle becoming bloodlust. A violent and psychotic maniac who enjoys fighting as well as destruction. One such user once laid waste to an entire city, single-handedly destroying it and turning the land around it into a desert; no one survived the massacre. He was manic, lived for fighting, killing, and destroying, and prone to bursting into cackling fits whenever he was enjoying a fight and even praised his opponents' skills despite his intention to fight them and kill them. The divine energy projection and awakened form consume enormous amounts of stamina. Overuse can leave the user completely exhausted or unconscious. Awakening the fruit is extremely difficult. The user must possess immense willpower, combat experience, and a true warrior’s spirit. Simply eating the fruit does not grant access to the Iop God Form.

Usage: The user fights with their fists, knees, elbows, and energy-enhanced strikes. The fruit is best suited for a close-quarters fighter who enjoys overwhelming opponents with speed and power. Its combat instinct makes the user extremely difficult to hit, while its divine energy projection gives the user ranged options.

Transformations

Human form: The user loses their nose and gains pointier ears. They retain enhanced physical abilities and combat instincts, but no visible Iop traits are shown unless they call upon the fruit’s power.

Hybrid form: The user takes on the appearance of an Iop warrior. Their muscles become more defined, their hair becomes wilder or spikier, and their eyes may glow red or white. A visible battle aura surrounds their body. In this form, all physical stats are greatly increased, and the user can use divine energy attacks more freely

This hybrid form can lean toward two distinct expressions based on the user’s personality:

· Crimson aura: hot-blooded fighting style, explosive power, and increased aggression.
· White aura: calm and precise movements, greater control over divine energy, and a more regal, godly presence.

Full Beast Form — Iop God Form (Awakening):

When awakened, the user gains the full power of an Iop god. Their hair turns glowing gold, their eyes glow with divine light, and their body is enveloped in a radiant, godly aura. In this form, the user becomes a living god of war.

The awakened form grants:

· Immense physical strength capable of splitting the ground and creating massive shockwaves.
· Flight through divine energy.
· Near-immunity to conventional physical damage.
· Large-scale energy projection and devastating area attacks.
· Minor divine regeneration.
· Aura pressure so intense it can knock out weak-willed opponents.
· Complete mastery over Iop combat instinct.

Awakening

The awakening of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Iop is the full manifestation of the Iop god. The user’s body becomes a divine vessel, allowing them to access godly abilities far beyond those of a normal Iop warrior.

However, awakening is not automatic. The user must prove themselves worthy through combat, willpower, and an unbreakable warrior’s spirit. If the user is not mentally strong enough, the awakened form may overwhelm them, causing them to lose themselves in a mindless battle frenzy.

Notes: Percedal has always been my favorite character and the Iop race in general. I hope I did him and his people justice.

Type: Paramecia
Overview: The Pōtaru Pōtaru no Mi is a paramecia type that allows the user to summon portals with the swirling motion of their hands, making them a portal human. In reality, however, it is a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit called the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Eliatrope, and the name "Pōtaru Pōtaru no Mi" was given to it by the World Government to hide its true nature from the world. This is similar to how the Gomu Gomu no Mi was used to hide the true name of the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. Eating the fruit grants the user command over Wakfu, a unique energy that only the user can generate and utilize. The fruit also grants longevity, and upon awakening, the user gains semi-immortality.

Appearance: The fruit resembles a fist-sized, teal-skinned melon with gold ridges spiraling inward toward the stem like a small whirlpool

Strengths: The user has the ability to summon portals by rotating their hand in a circular motion and throwing them to where they would like them to appear. The user can utilize these to out-maneuver and confuses their opponents in battle, allowing them to shift instantly between all attack ranges. They also have the ability to redirect virtually any attack thrown at them, either at their foe or just to avoid getting hit. Initially, the user can only conjure a single set of portals at a time and are limited to areas they can see. But with training and concentration, they can become capable of forming dozens of portals at a time and even summon one the size of an island. By rapidly forming portals successively in front of them, the user can achieve a form of high-speed movement, appearing as little more than a stream of energy moving midair. They can make use of this when dealing with midair enemies, and can use themselves as a ram in this state. By overlapping two portals at once, the user can create a powerful beam of energy. With training, the user can summon the blasts without the same level of time for their portals, as well as adjusting the size and power of their blasts. Wakfu is the fruit’s signature energy: a pale blue-white current that the user, and only the user, can perceive and channel. And unlike haki, it cannot be trained into anyone else—it exists only because the fruit makes its user a conduit for it. The two aren’t mutually exclusive and the user can layer them, coating a portal boosted strike in Armament haki, further boosting his observation haki with wakfu for more in-depth sensing, better accuracy, and even better precognition when using Future Sight, and can channel conqueror’s haki through portal blasts. The fruit grants the user a greatly extended lifespan. Even before awakening, the user ages at a much slower rate than ordinary humans and can remain physically youthful for centuries.

Weaknesses: Like all Devil Fruit users, the user of the Pota Pota no Mi loses the ability to swim and becomes vulnerable to the sea, Seastone, and other standard Devil Fruit weaknesses. Using large-scale portals, powerful Portal Blasts, or maintaining many portals at once drains Wakfu. Overuse can cause severe fatigue, unconsciousness, and temporarily prevent the user from using any Wakfu-based abilities until they recover. The user must have a clear mental image of the destination or be able to perceive it through their own senses or Kenbunshoku Haki. Creating extremely long-distance portals requires greater focus and Wakfu output. Even after awakening, the user can still be killed by fatal injuries, drowning, Seastone exposure, or sufficiently powerful Haki-based attacks. Semi-immortality protects the user from natural causes and poisons and greatly enhances recovery, but it does not make them unkillable.

Awakening: When the fruit awakens, the user's true power as a Mythical Zoan is fully released. The user's body rapidly matures to its prime physical age, undergoing a significant growth spurt if the user was a child, or reverting to prime condition if the user was already older.

Upon awakening, the user gains:

-Semi-immortality: The user ceases to age and cannot die from natural causes. They gain accelerated recovery from non-fatal wounds, though fatal injuries can still kill them.
-Full Eliatrope abilities: The remaining powers of the Eliatrope race become available, including advanced Wakfu manipulation.
-Wakfu constructs: The user can create solid constructs of Wakfu, such as swords, shields, platforms, and binding chains.
-Flight: The user gains draconic wings made of wakfu on their head to levitate and fly.
-Enhanced physical abilities: The awakened state grants increased strength, speed, durability, and reflexes.
-Full Eliatrope form: As a Mythical Zoan, the user can assume a hybrid or full Eliatrope form, gaining glowing blue Eliatrope markings, draconic traits, and a body at its prime.

The awakened user also gains greater mastery over portals, allowing them to create moving portals, open large portal storms, and sense through linked portals.

Notes: Before One Piece, Wakfu was one of my favorite animes of all time! I watched every season and all of the special episodes on Netflix and I plan on rewatching season four as well. I’m gonna be making a devil fruit for each of the main cast so stay tuned for that.
