Four Seasons Orlando Review

My husband and I took our two boys (7 and 8) for a 4-night stay at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World, and I think this place is best when you don’t try to cram in nonstop park days.

We booked through Alex and had such a great experience. This trip was supposed to be more of a relaxing “hang at the hotel” kind of family trip instead of going to the parks, and it blew us away.

We had a pretty brutal travel day getting there, but they had our room ready by 11am, comped our drinks while we got settled, and just made everything feel super easy from the second we arrived.

We were also celebrating our anniversary, and they did so many thoughtful little things for us. It all felt really genuine.

For kids, this place is basically paradise. They had stuffed animals waiting in the room along with other kid-friendly touches, and our boys were excited before we even unpacked. One night they even sent up a movie night setup with a complimentary movie, popcorn, candy, and Shirley Temples, which my kids are still talking about.

But the thing that really won me over was what happened with my younger son’s stuffed animal, Pengie. A close family friend who recently passed away had given him to my son, so when Pengie accidentally got wrapped up in the sheets during housekeeping, it felt awful.

I went to the front desk to ask if they could help, and they took it seriously right away. They immediately started looking into it, gave my son a complimentary gelato token to help distract him while they searched, and kept us updated throughout the day.

A few hours later, one of the Guest Experience hosts actually tracked us down at the lazy river and quietly said, “Don’t tell the kids we found him yet, he’s been on an adventure.”

When Pengie finally came back, they had added two new little stuffed friends to his crew, and Pengie himself was wearing a tiny bow tie. My kids completely lost it.

They easily could’ve just handed him back and called it a day, but instead they turned a really emotional situation into one of the sweetest memories from our trip.

The kids club is awesome, the water slides and lazy river are so fun, and there’s always something going on. Somehow it manages to feel magical for kids and adults.

We didn’t even go to a Disney park this trip, we never felt like we were missing out.

We’re actually coming back to Orlando in September for the Disney Halloween party, and we switched our stay from Disney’s Grand Floridian to the Four Seasons instead. We can’t wait to come back.
