For my birthday last June 3rd I decided not to buy Vision clubs for myself and instead spend my time designing my own clubs so I would have full control over patterns. After a year I have my first version finished today. I'll be working on detection software for catches throws spins etc on a road trip to yellowstone this friday. I plan to sell these for as little as possible so if you're interested in open source juggling clubs/ sticks that you have unlimited control over stay tuned. My rough estimate currently for a price is 60$ per club, costing around 40$ to produce and many hours because I 3D print the shell currently. They have an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer for pattern detection. I'm planning to design my own software to create patterns as easily as possible. You can charge these with a usb c as is standard today. I'm also currently planning a snap together feature to turn 3 clubs into a single staff. With plans to create dragonstaff like ends that snap on aswell. This prototype weighs a heafty 750g but I'm printing a thinner shell that totals the weight around 400g. I'm going to do my best to shave off every gram I can, this is just the alpha weight.
