Phillips 2224/10 makes no coffee and running out of ideas
Hi everyone,
I'm having a weird issue with my Phillips 2224/10 since yesterday, and I'm trying to figure out.
- Machine starts normally
- Grinder works normally
- Right when coffee should start coming out, the pump sound becomes very muffled/strained
- No coffee comes out
- Then there's a loud "clack" and red warning light turns on - Then it purges some water through the steam/hot water wand
Important details :
- Hot water through the steam wand works normally
- The dispensing stouts are not clogged (I opened them and tested pouring water through them manually and it goes does normally). I tested during brewing and nothing reaches the coffee spout area (or just a few bubbles)
- No anormal leakage either outside the coffee machine or in the bottom tray. Used coffee grouns are still being ejected normally into the container.
What I tried:
- Cleaned and rinsed the brew group
- Removed AquaClean filter and try without it
- Descaling
- Tested both with beans and pre-ground coffee
- Tested with no coffee at all
- Cleaned the coffee funnel
Here is a video of the problem. Did it ever happen to you? What do you think the cause is?
