Drive thru bar rant.

This is just a rant, please don't take it seriously.

But what is the point of having me on drive thru bar if halfway through peak your going to change the play and ruin the drive time???

I had our drive thru time at 30 seconds today, now this is a personal best as I've only been with starbucks for 3 months. I know that I can still be quicker and that this isn't a hard thing to do.

But I had us at 30 seconds. And my manager moved me to window and put a different girl on bar, we ended peak at a 46. The goal was 45. I know thats not a bad drive time, and I understand that everyone deserves bar time, and she was still really good, but I also worked really hard to get it down that much and I just feel like it was a waste of energy.

Hey guys new employee here! I've been with starbucks for almost 4 months.

I love the job in itself and the benefits are great, but my managers and SSV's keep putting my only on bar for my shifts. I've discussed the fact that doing bar 5 times a week for peak, and then still being on bar for the rest of my shift is exhausting and if we could either move me after peak? Or change my peak position every once and a while. I told them that being on bar 3-4 times a week is great! It's just going from peak to solo bar is a lot for me. I'm also starting to notice my other skills declining. Am I being difficult? Does anyone else have this problem?

(They also have no problem moving every other employee 2-4 times throughout their shifts)
